Overall positive experience

I bought the K1 Max High-Speed 3D Printer during one of their promotions. The shipping was surprisingly quick; it arrived two days earlier than the tracking said it would, which was a pleasant surprise. The setup was fairly straightforward, and the print quality has been consistently good for what I'm doing. My only minor gripe is that the initial calibration took a bit longer than I expected, and the instructions for that part could have been a little clearer. But once I got it dialed in, it's been performing really well. Customer service was responsive when I had a question about filament profiles too, so that was a plus.

Good printer, quick delivery

I ordered an Ender-3 V3 KE a couple weeks ago. It got here pretty fast, like five days, which was nice. Set it up without too much trouble and printed a few things already. It's been working well for me so far, no real complaints.

Solid value for the money

I was looking to get into 3D printing and decided on the Ender-3 S1 Pro. I spent a while comparing prices and features on a few different sites. Creality's site had a pretty decent deal going on for it, and I managed to snag it with free shipping, which definitely helped with the overall cost. The printer itself seems like a good quality machine for the price point. It's been printing well, and I feel like I got a good return on my investment.

Can you use more than one coupon code on their site? Got a newsletter one and saw something about a new user discount.

A Anna L. 2 months ago
Nah, pretty sure you can only use one code per order. They usually say in the fine print if it's stackable, and most aren't.

I tried combining a filament code with a printer discount once, didn't work. It's usually one or the other, gotta pick the best deal.

Thinking of getting the Falcon2 22W. How does it compare to some of the other laser engravers out there, like from Atomstack or Ortur?

M Mia C. 2 months ago
The Falcon2 is pretty good for the price. I've seen some reviews saying it holds its own against similar wattage machines from competitors, especially with the air assist.

It's a solid choice. I'd say it's more budget-friendly than some high-end stuff from like XTool, but still offers good power and features. For hobby use, it's totally comparable to Atomstack's offerings.

Hey, wondering if the Ender 3 V3 SE would be a good first printer? Heard some mixed things about Creality for beginners.

J June 3 months ago
Yeah, the Ender 3 series is usually pretty solid for starting out. Lots of online resources and communities for them too, so finding help isn't hard.

I started with an Ender 3 Pro and it was fine. Had some small assembly hiccups but nothing major. Creality printers are generally good value for beginners imo, just don't expect it to be 100% plug and play like some higher-end ones.

Are returns a pain if something goes wrong with a printer? Like if it's dead on arrival or something.

T Troy Lindqvist 3 months ago
My friend had to return a faulty hotend, and they were pretty good about it. Just had to jump through a few hoops with their support first for troubleshooting.

Returns for printers usually aren't too bad if it's within the initial window, like 7-14 days. Just keep all the original packaging, saves a lot of hassle. After that, it's more warranty repair stuff.

Anyone know how long shipping usually takes for a K1 Max to, say, California? Thinking about ordering one next week.

D Dan L. 3 months ago
Mine got to Texas in like a week and a half, maybe two? I think they ship from US warehouses, so it's not coming from overseas.

For California, you're probably looking at less than a week if they have it in stock locally. My last order (a bunch of filament) arrived super quick, like 3-4 days.
